Thursday, December 20th, 2012

I wish the Charge a very blessed Christmas and pray for God's
continued guidance and blessings all year around.  As we celebrate
His birth, let us not forget what Christmas is all about - the gift given
to us that no one can match - God giving us His only son, Jesus, who
later died to save us from our sins.  Let us use this time to reflect and
be thankful.  Blessings all (from the Charge Secretary).

We want to change the name of our Charge in 2013 to reflect our
vision, mission and values.  Please submit all suggestions to the
Charge Secretary, gumctakomapark@verizon.net and/or
301-891-2100 and/or 301-422-2132.

Your financial assistance is needed!  Grace UMC is currently behind
on apportionments, so please consider giving $50.00 over and
beyond your normal tithe and offerings, in order for us to pay off our apportionment obligation by the end of 2012, which is just 9 days
from now.  See the following link for more information on why it is vital
that we pay our apportionments: http://bwcumc.org/whywegive

Have you been praying to receive a blessing or praying to be a
blessing?  If so, please fill out the Embrace Ministry – Dare to Care
form which is found in both churches by the Pastor’s Study.
