Registration deadline for 2014 Washington Region

Leadership Day which will be held on Saturday,

January 25, 2014 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Blake High School,

300 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, MD 20905.

Sunday, January 19^th, 2014:

(This will be at Ager Road and Grace UMC)

Congregational Meeting: Prayer & Listening Session

immediately following the Worship Service.

Friday, January 31^st – Sunday, February 2^nd:

ROCK 2014. Eleven spaces and scholarships are available.

Volunteers are needed to prepare food and for more

information, please contact Brother Dunrick Sogie-Thomas.

Cost is $150.00 each; chaperones are also needed.

Ongoing

Every First and Third Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

(This will be at Ager Road UMC)

Please serve an hour or more with the Food

Pantry ministry.

Every Third Fridays, 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Every First and Third Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Every Fourth Sundays, following the Worship Service

Coffee hour will be hosted by member/s celebrating their

birthdays during that month.

We are asking for food donation for the pantry which can be placed

on the Altar during the offertory.

Winter Clean-Up

Ager Road United Methodist Men will meet in the

Wesley Hall immediately following Worship Service.

Deadline for the ROCK registration which will be from

Friday, January 31^st to Sunday, February 3^rd, 2014 in

Ocean City, Maryland. United Methodist Youth Fellowship

still need help to raise funds for hotel rooms, van rental, and

fuel. Extra envelopes are available from an Usher starting

today.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship will collect toys for

children of Rosa Parks Community/ Food Pantry Participants.

4 months - Age 12 in need of new toys. For more information/

questions, please contact Sister Valery Whitfield

and Brother Tunde Amona.
