We need help on Fridays to transport and store food and on
Saturdays to distribute food. Currently we only distribute food
once a month on 1st Saturdays but if we have more volunteers
from the Charge we can distribute food twice a month or maybe
every Saturday.
We want to include a testimonial section in our weekly blog.

your testimonies of how Christ, through the church, changed

Registration for Discipleship Academy is now open and available
at the Conference website at http://www.bwcumc.org/academy/cls/washington. TheCentral Maryland Discipleship Academy
will be held on theweekend of March 9-10, 2013 at Goshen UMC.
Registration forthis location ends on March 1, 2013. The Greater
WashingtonDiscipleship Academy will be held on the weekend of
April 13-14, 2013 at Bethesda UMC. Registration for this
location ends on April 1, 2013. You must register for this event
with your own Gateway account. Be sure to register before the
deadline! We do not allow walk-ins for these events. Flyers with
more detailed class information can be found on the bulletin
boards.
